Wirral Cycle Services is a well-established independent bicycle workshop and retailer serving riders across the Wirral peninsula. The owner, Paul Walker, wanted a modern, professional web presence that showcased both the workshop expertise and a growing e-commerce range. The previous website had an outdated design that didn’t translate well to mobile, leaving a poor first impression. The Solutions
We delivered a clean, responsive redesign using Mozello, featuring bold typography and mobile-friendly layouts. Core services—Repairs, Custom Builds, and E-commerce—are now clearly presented in the main menu, with a “Book a Service” button always within reach. Performance was a key focus, with optimised images and streamlined code cutting load times from 4.8 to 1.6 seconds. We also created compelling, keyword-rich copy and applied on-page SEO best practices, targeting local search terms like “bike repair Wirral” and enhancing visibility with structured schema markup.
